North Korea Conflict
The Story of the Korean Peninsula and the Views from China, the US, Koreas and Japan
The North Korea crisis has been occupying international news since the beginning of 2017. President Trump called North Korea's leader Kim Jong-un “a Rocket Man on a suicide mission” in his UN speech. The young Kim, a third generation leader of the communist country, is full of mystery and colourful stories. He is a subject of the American comedy film “The Interview”, which led to the hacking of Sony Pictures by allegedly North Korean hackers. This presentation tells the stories of the Kim family and the country's intricate relations with the United States and its neighbors, especially China. Find out how the Chinese perceive North Korea in a very different light from average Americans.
Drop us a note if there is any topic related to China's current affairs and history that you'd like to receive a presentation about. We'll let you know if it can be done, and how long it will take to get it ready.
